Strawberry Sparkle Annual Ladies Luncheon 2008
This year the Strawberry Sparkle Event took place on Wednesday 27th August at Nutters Restaurant, Norden Rochdale. It was attended by one hundred ladies and despite the winter like conditions, they enjoyed a lunch consisting of fish, chicken and a special sweet devised for the occasion by Andrew Nutter.
On arrival each lady was greeted with a Strawberry cocktail and had the opportunity of buying goods from jewellery, handbag and Body Shop stalls. Raffle prizes were won by somebody from each table together with a free draw and star prizes. Denis Hope of Rochdale also did a fashion show with the two boys Oliver and Ryan being the stars. Everybody present enjoyed the day. including the Neil Diamond Tribute Act and helped in raising £2000.
